1::దత్తాత్రేయం మహాత్మానం వరదం భక్తవత్సలం 
ప్రపన్నార్తి హరం వందే స్మతృగామి సనోవతు  

2::దీనబంధుం కృపాసింధుం సర్వకారణ కారణం 
సర్వ రక్షాకరం వందే స్మతృగామి సనోవతు 

3::శరణాగత దీనార్త పరిత్రాణ పరాయణం 
నారాయణం విభుం వందే స్మతృగామి సనోవతు 

4::సర్వానర్థ హరం దేవం సర్వమంగళ మంగళం 
సర్వ క్లేశ హరం వందే స్మతృగామి సనోవతు 

5::బ్రహ్మణ్యం ధర్మతత్త్వజ్ఞం భక్త కీర్తి వివర్ధనం 
భక్తాభీష్ట ప్రదం వందే స్మతృగామి సనోవతు  

6::శొషణం పాప పంకస్య దీపనం జ్ఞానతేజసః 
తాప ప్రశమనం వందే స్మతృగామి సనోవతు 

7::సర్వరోగ ప్రశమనం సర్వపీడా నివారణం 
విపదుద్ధరణం వందే స్మతృగామి సనోవతు  

8::జన్మ సంసార బంధఘ్నం స్వరూపానంద దాయకం 
నిశ్శ్రేయస పదం వందే స్మతృగామి సనోవతు 

9::జయలాభ యశః కామ దాతు ర్దత్తస్య యస్తవం 
భోగమోక్ష ప్రదస్యేమం ప్రపఠేత్ సుకృతీ భవేత్ `

1::Dattatreyam mahatmanam varadam bhakta vatsalam
 Prapannarthi haram vande smartrgami Sanovatu

I pray to Lord Dattatreya, great divine spirit, who confers boons and protects
the devotees, who removes afflictions immediately of those who remember Him with
faith.


2::Dinabandum Krpasindhum sarvakarana karanam
 Sarva raksakaram vande smartrgami sanovatu

I pray to Lord Dattatreya, who is a friend of the poor, a sea of compassion,
cause of all causes and the protector of all those who remember Him sincerely.

3::Saranagata dinarta paritrana parayanam
 Narayanam vibhum vande smartrgami sanovatu

I pray to Lord Dattatreya, who is a shelter for the poor and afflicted and
grants deliverance immediately to those having firm devotion in him and remember
him sincerely.

4::Sarvanartha haram devam sarva mangala mangalam
 Sarvaklesa haram vande smartrgami sanovatu

I pray to Lord Dattatreya, who is the destroyer of all useless and harmful
things and giver of all auspicious objects, the remover of all afflictions of
those who remember Him sincerely.
  

5::Brahmanyam dharma tattvajnam bhakta kirti vivardhanam
 Bhaktabhista pradam vande smartrgami sanovatu

I pray to Lord Dattatreya, well versed in the vedas, knower of the essence of
religion, who causes to increase the fame of His devotees who is giver of
whatever is needed by the devotees who remember Him sincerely.

6::Sosanam papapankasya dipanam jnanatejasah
 Tapa prasamanam vande smartrgami sanovatu

I pray to Lord Dattatreya who removes the quagmire of sins, lights up the flame
of wisdom, calms down distress and torment of those who remember Him sincerely.
  

7::Sarvaroga prasamanam sarvapida nivaranam
 Vipaduddharanam vande smartrgami sanovatu

I pray to Lord Dattatreya who cures all diseases, heals all pain and removes all
calamities of those who remember Him sincerely.

8::Janmasamsara bandhajnam svarupananda dayakam
 Nissreyasa padam vande smartrgami sanovatu

I pray to Lord Dattatreya who is most excellent and liberates from the cycle of
birth and death in this world and who is the giver of bliss to those who
remember Him sincerely.

9::Jaya labha yasah kama datu rdattasya yastavam
Bhogamoksha prada syemam prapathet sakriti bhavet

 Those who recite this eulogy of Lord Dattatreya regularly and with faith, become
wise and attain victory, fame, fulfillment of all worldly desires and
achievements and finally get liberation from the bondage of life.
